Yukiko is Japanese, born and raised in Geneva, Switzerland where she received solid ballet training with Genevieve Chaussat at "Ecole de Danse Classique Geneve" (Geneva, Switzerland), later training up to Excellence II at the Princess Grace academy in Monaco with Marika Besobrasova and with other prestigious schools including the Royal Ballet School of London.

She has won several medals in ballet competitions including a gold medal at Swiss national competition in 1992 and performed in Sleeping Beauty, La Bayadère, Giselle, Dying Swan.

She stopped dancing at the age of 16 due to ankle injuries, but restarted ballet as an adult and a mother of 2 learning to retrain and get herself back into shape. She later performed on several stages in Beijing and Tokyo and taught classes for both adults and children in Beijing. Her decision to start teaching again in Hong Kong was sparked by her experience in Tokyo where she had the privilege to dance in front of her idol dancer Yoko Morishita who asked Yuki not to stop dancing and teaching. That made her realize how much she loved ballet and how lucky she was to have formed a solid ballet foundation as a kid.

Yuki fully understands the challenges one can face when learning ballet as an adult and really wants to pass on the love, passion and knowhow she has gained.
