Born in Hong Kong, Misha began her ballet journey at the age of 7 and has never ceased since then. She was trained in R.A.D. Syllabus since young at First Step Ballet School. With the completion of Advanced Level II with distinction, she shifted her focus to stage performances and competitions under the guidance of various renowned dancers. She has been awarded at various competitions, such as winning gold medals at the Hong Kong Open Dance Contest in 2020-2022.

Misha started teaching at the age of 20 and had only put on a halt while she was following her passion for historical studies at Chinese University of Hong Kong. In 2016, with the completion of her M.Phil degree, she took a career change from an academic researcher to a dance educator, as she cannot imagine her life with little time left for ballet. She has been teaching R.A.D. Syllabus for children and free-syllabus adult ballet class for almost 10 years. During these years, she has never stopped assisting her students to pursue their dreams.

Being the bottom of her class at her early years of ballet training, she understands most about the frustration of not being able to dance as beautifully as one may picture themselves to be. As she improves in dance, she finds the solution always lays in the simplest basic techniques. This realisation influences her teaching style and enables her to help her students to build a solid foundation.
