Having been influenced by his family, Ian started dancing at the age of 5 and has been continuously sharpening his skills in various styles since then, which includes Hip Hop, Urban dance, Popping, House, Breaking and Contemporary dance. Throughout the years he has taken part in numerous local dance competitions, enrolled in professional jazz and hip hop dance training and was elected president of Hong Kong Joint School Dance Association.

Ian focuses on developing his own unique style through combining all techniques and musicality from different dance styles and share it to a wide range of dancers in order to inspire and be inspired. Ian also regularly creates concept videos and by doing so has observed that dance is much more than movements of the body, rather it is a form of art for everyone to express fragments of their thoughts, and through consistent exchange of expressions, make the world a more dancier one.
