Description

Pachanga is a dance that originated in New York City, USA in the early 60's.  Not to be confused with Colombian Pachanga.  Pachanga is commonly danced to Charanga latin music or Boogaloo!  The style is emphasised with the use of smooth sliding footwork and a 'bounce' that emphasises the chord beats in the music.

Pachanga footwork is often used nowadays in Salsa social dancing to interpret any charanga elements within salsa tracks or to add a different flavour to freestyle footwork.

Notes

IMPORTANT!
Dancing can be physically challenging. Please warm-up before taking classes. Students participate in all activities at their own risk.

STUDIO POLICY:
In group classes it is not necessary to bring a partner with you. Group classes rotate partners for best learning experience.
Please arrive on time for classes.
No Photography or Videoing of any instructor or classes is allowed.

TYPHOON POLICY:
During T3 or T8, most classes continue to run as usual, however please call to confirm.  During T9 & T10 we cancel all classes.
